SA records 1 816 news Covid-19 cases in 24 hours bringing the total cases to 648 214 and the total number of 15 427 deaths.

49 news deaths were also confirmed with 13 from Western Cape, 12 coming from Gauteng, 11 from KZN, 8 from the Eastern Cape and 5 from Free State.
