Health Ministry records a little over 138 000 Covid-19 cases

Western Cape continues to be the epicenter of Covid-19 in South Africa as the number of confirmed cases hit almost 140 000 cases.
Health Minister Dr Zweli Mkhize said late Sunday evening that there were 138 000 confirmed cases as of June 28.
“As at today, the total number of confirmed Covid-19 cases is 138 134, the total number of deaths is 2456”
Minister also added they recorded 68 925 recoveries.
