Soldier Arrest after Being Found in Possession of Cigarettes

South African National Defence Force (SANDF) member has been arrested after being found in possession cigarettes in Seshego, Limpopo.

The defence force said through a statement that this was after a tipoff they received about a military vehicle that is used to transport cigarettes.

His arrest was enforced because tobacco products are still banned under level 4 lockdown.

He was transported to the local police station by the Military Police.
