Bloemfontein Celtic Midfielder Tebogo Potsane escapes punishment after wearing South African National Defence Force (SANDF) uniform and impersonating an official.
In a 30 seconds video that have been circulating on social media, the 26 years old is heard saying: “you see those who are roaming on the streets, I’m going to show them. I’m still training”.
Apparently Potsane got a warning to never repeat that again.
The soccer team said player was just making a joke and didn’t think it would rub the SANDF a wrong way and he apologised for any offence taken.
The team also said that it is not true that the player was arrested and fined.
