Radio presenter makes court appearance in Moutse for rape

A 42 years old radio presenter is set to make court appearance at Moutse Magistrates Court today for the alleged rape a fellow female colleague and former girlfriend. The accused suspect has been in police custody since his arrest on December 30th.

A report says that the incident allegedly occurred on Friday, 26 December 2025 at an RDP house in Walkaal when the 39-year-old victim who is a presenter at a local radio station, returned back to the station to collect some of her belongings she had left behind.

The suspect allegedly followed her and offered to assist her carry the items. Upon arrival at the residential place of the victim, he sexually assaulted her.
