This was not the first a case of this nature was opened against Malema at the equality court. NGO AfriForum also opened a case before in court.

Steenhuisen said they will be including the ANC as the governing party in the case for playing deaf at Malema’s alleged utterances.

Furthermore, he also called on President Ramaphosa to condemn Malema’s singing, failure to do so it means he also promotes his actions.

He also called on the media to call both Malema and the EFF out.

“To the media, I ask that you put pressure on Ramaphosa to come out of hiding for once. If Ramaphosa fails to denounce Malema, it can only mean that he is too cowardly to honour the oath he took to uphold the Constitution and defend all the people of South Africa.”
