7 New Covid-19 Related Deaths Confirmed in SA

Health Ministry have confirmed a recoded number of new deaths related to Covid-19 today and new number of infections.

The number is currently sitting at 34 with 7 of the new cases that were confirmed today. Six of which are said to be from KwaZulu Natal and one from Gauteng.

But Gauteng is still leading with number of infections in the country now sitting at 930 followed by Western Cape 657, KwaZulu Natal 519, Eastern Cape 199, Free State 97, Limpopo 25, North West 23, Mpumalanga 22, Northern Cape 16 and 18 Unallocated cases.

The ministry said they have conducted 90 515 tests so far.

Of these confirmed deaths, the oldest deceased is a 91 years old male from KwaZulu Natal and the youngest is a 50 years old male from Gauteng.
