A once upon time glorious Soweto football team seems to be getting everything right when it comes to rubbing their loyal supporters the wrong way during the most crucial time.

Sitting on the 4^th PSL log position, Kaizer Chiefs found itself losing the last hope of qualifying for the CAF competition now sitting g at 44 points.

Having lost 11 games, Amakhosi is 25 points away from the tittle holders and log leaders Mamelodi Sundowns and 7 points away from second and third position, Orlando Pirates and SuperSport United.

Coach Arthur Zwane had to be safely escorted out of the field by the security personnel and police after being thrown at with a bottle by angry fans after losing 1-0 to SuperSport United.

Zwane was quoted being deeply disappointed in his team for not making good use of their chances before being assaulted with bottle.

They are now on the 8^th dry season with not much to show for a team of their caliber.
