Thoriso Themane murder trial back in court

A gruesome murder of a young man Thoriso Themane from Limpopo which made headlines in 2019 set to resume again in Polokwane High Court after being postponed last week following positive Covid-19 case that was reported on one of the defence lawyers.

Thamane was gruesomely assaulted and dragged through the streets of Flora Park in Polokwane in 2019. Of the arrested suspects in his murder six teenagers were also included in the act.

The arrest included two adult suspects who were initially granted R1000 bail each. One of the bail conditions demanded that suspects stay out of Polokwane for safety reasons following riot by the community.

The the minors were released under parental care. 

Trial will be held on camera.
