Dismembered male body found in a grave

Police in Limpopo has launched a manhunt for an unknown suspect/s following the discovery of a dismembered male body that was a urged in a grave in Apel in the Sekhukhune District.

The information by the police said that the deceased was discovered by community members who were collecting wood in the bushes near Strydkraal on Wednesday. They alerted the police on the matter.

Upon arrival at the scene, the police say they were able to retrieve the body with multiple injuries and some of the body parts which were buried in the same grave.

Further investigations by the police indicated that the victim was allegedly brought to the crime scene by an unidentified motor vehicle and was dragged meters to the scene where the grave was dug.

That was identified by trails of bloodstains. He is estimated to be around the ages of 30s.

Police have called on anyone who might have information on the matter to alert the police.
