Limpopo sing praises and ululations for the 23 years old Shudufhadzo Musida as she takes over as the new Miss South Africa in the 62nd edition of the beauty pageant.
Confidently wearing her bald hairstyle, Musida also holds Bachelor of Social Sciences in philosophy, politics and economics, and is currently completing her BA Honours in international relations.
She comes from Vhangani Village outside Vuwani in Limpopo
The newly crowned Miss SA bagged a package of prizes including sponsorships worth over R 3m, and this includes R 1m cash.
She is counted among very few beauty pageant winners to wear a different hairstyle that is not the usual preference for many pageants of long curly hair.
Musida will compete at Miss Universe.
Her First and second runners-up are Thato Moselle and Natasha Joubert.
Sitting at the judging panel were actress Kim Engelbrecht, reigning Miss Universe Zozibini Tunzi, media personality Anele Mdoda and actress & presenter Leandie du Randt.
