Ramaphosa comes out victorious again in ANC Presidency race

President Matamela Ramaphosa has been re-elected as the ANC President for the second term in the 55th ANC elective conference.

The conference started with some bit of chaos from it’s first day with KZN delegates distrusting President Ramaphosa while giving opening political report.

Many were calling for his defeat against former health Minister Dr Zweli Mkhize who lost in the presidency race by 579 votes.

Ramaphosa received 2476 votes.

While on the other hand Ramaphosa will have Gauteng’s Paul Mashatile as his Deputy President after winning against Oscar Mabuyane and Justice & Correctional Services Minister Ronald Lamola. Mashatile takes over from DD Mabuza.

President: Cyril Ramaphosa

Deputy President: Paul Mashatile

National Chairperson: Gwede Mantashe

Secretary-General: Fikile Mbalula

Deputy Secretary-General: Nomvula Mokonyane

Second Deputy Secretary-General: Maropene Ramokgopa

Treasurer-General: Gwen Ramokgopa
