President Ramaphosa officially recognizes Misuzulu as the king of the Zulu nation

Following a long court battle traditional ceremonies, both official and unofficial, President Matamela Ramaohosa has finally officially recognized a Zulu King Misuzulu Sinqobile kaZwelithini.
The coronation which was first marred by controversy was held at Moses Mabhida stadium on Saturday.
Handing over a giant framed certificate to officially recognize the 48-year-old new ruler Misuzulu Zulu in the coastal city of Durban, Ramaphosa said Misuzulu is the only Zulu King of the Zulu nation recognized by the state.
Misuzulu ascended to the throne to take over from where his father Goodwill Zwelithini, who died in March 2021 left off after more than 50 years on the throne.
Some of the keywords from his speech when he was addressing the nation was peace and reconciliation being his mission throughout his reign.
Among many other keynote speakers and attendees was the Eswatini Monarch, King Mswati lll who told the opponents to backoff.
He also said that it is not unusual to find people fighting for the kingship immediately when a king passes with hopes of being the chosen ones.
