Police Sergeant car torched while sleeping

Police in Taung North West have launched a manhunt for the suspects involved in the torching of their member’s car.

Brigadier Sabata Mokgoabone said that reports said that the 41 years old Sergeant was allegedly sleeping on Thursday night with his family when they were woken up by the car alarm.

Upon investigating what could be the problem, the found the car up in flames. Emergency services together with the police were summoned to the scene.

Fortunate enough, neither the member nor his family members sustained injuries. A case of malicious damage to property was opened and investigations into the matter continue.
