Police handcuffed two suspected to be in connection with stolen fuel worth R 3Million.

The Hawks’ Serious Organised Crime Investigation team apprehended the pair, 38 years old and a 43 years old, following an intelligence driven operation after information regarding four tankers reportedly transporting stolen fuel to Gauteng was received.

The incident happened at a Transnet station in Warden.

Suspects are in police custody and expected to appear in court on Thursday to face charges of theft and damaging essential infrastructure.
