Nono Maloyi beats Maape in the ANC North West conference

Following a long night of proceedings in the ANC North West conference, the party has finally announced their newly elected top 5 with.

The election saw Premier Bushy Maape lose with 79 votes to Nono Maloyi.

The election of Maloyi came with a huge back up from former Premier Supra Mahumapelo who stepped down from the nomination to give him support.

The results were announced in the early morning hours.

Mahumapelo said he was now entertaining calls for him to make himself available for a position in the ANC national top 6 or national executive committee at the December conference.
