Mzwanele Manyi leaves ATM to join EFF

Former President Jacob Zuma’s Spokesperson Mzwanele Manyi said he has decided to leave African Transformation Movement (ATM) to join the red berets EFF.

Manyi said this on his social media account early Friday morning saying after careful consideration, he has released that the EFF has proven to not only being the trend setter in South African politics, it is also the third biggest political party that has also shown that it has potential to remove the ANC from the governing sit.

Manyi was serving as chief of policy and strategy in ATM until this announcement.

“I must hasten to add that I leave the ATM peacefully without fighting with anyone. I hope to be the bridge between the EFF and ATM for party to party collaboration.”

He also said that South Africa is fast deteriorating I to a failed state and a shock treatment from an organization with a revolutionary posture is much needed.

“South Africa does not have another 100 years to be nursing government that subscribes to neo-colianism.”

He said that the decision to jump fence came after seeing successful campaigns held by the party like a march to Eskom in 2020 and national shutdown in 2023.

“I join the party as a rank and file member will make my contribution in that capacity”
