Komphela leaves league champions Sundowns to join Swallows FC

One of the oldest football teams in South Africa popularly known as Moroka Swallows now Swallows FC has announced former Kaizer Chiefs and Mamelodi Sundowns coaches Steve Komphela as their new head coach.
The team finished the 2022/23 league in the top 8.
“We want to take Swallows FC to the next level and we are excited to have attracted the services of Coach Komphela,”
“We appreciate the professional manner in which Mamelodi Sundowns FC managed these negotiations.”
The league champions, Suundowns also wished Komphela well on his new adventure and said they appreciated his service during the time he was with them.
He is replacing Musa Nyatama who was the head coach.
