Trouble in paradise for former EFF Deputy President and now recently former Secretary General (SG) of MK Party Floyd Shivambu as he announces plans to form and launch a new political party.

Shivambu was recently axed by the MK Party leader Jacob Zuma in his position as an SG. Addressing the media today in Johannesburg, he said he was axed from the post on an intelligence report that was filled with lies about him planning to use his position to dethrone Zuma.

“There is another fake report that I was going to use Parliament to take over the parliament and that had Stellenbosch money, they then concluded that I was must not go to parliament and be expelled. President of MK is surrounded by scoundrels, who use his gullibility”

“In December 2024 there was a statement written of my removal , a draft statement was even shared with me that remove him now because his going to form a political party.”

Shivambu further made claims about certain people are stealing money from the MK Party monthly amounting to R 7million.

When asked what next, he said in the next few months he will be consulting traditional leaders and religious leaders, seeking opinions of prominent people in the country on whether he should form a new party on not.

He also repeated that he will not be going back to the EFF because it is a cult.

“No self love black person should join ANC or EFF.”
