Couple found in possession of drugs worth estimated value of R 1.5million

Court appearance today of two suspects who were arrested after being found in possession of drugs worth an estimated amount of R 1.5million in the North West.

Their arrest came during a disruptive operation on Charl de Klerk street where a 26 years old female and 33 years man who is a foreign national were found in a flat at Bushwillows where upon search, a bag with two blocks of what was suspected to be CAT and smaller bags containing meth where found.

This is according to Colonel Katlego Mogale who also said that the foreign national also requested to see a police officer during the search and attempted to bribe him with R 10 000 cash.

But the officer allegedly declined and added the charge of corruption on top.

They are due to appear at Klerksdorp Magistrates Court today.
