Case against Soshanguve Marry Me murder suspects postponed

A case against two suspects allegedly involved in the murder of CPF members in Soshanguve, Marry Me, has been postponed to April 1st for further investigations and identity parade.

The duo was arrested on Monday by Hawks members and made a brief appearance at a High Court in Tshwane North.

Hawks said they received the information about the said suspects on 24 March 2025 where it was also found that the have allegedly committed multiple murders and attempted murder in Soshanguve around February.

One of the suspects was arrested not far from this recent crime scene in extension 20 Soshanguve. Upon arrival, police recovered one firearm, a 9MM Girsan with ammunition.

The serial number had been filed off the firearm.

The police proceeded to the second address also not far from the scene in Soshanguve Extension 6, where the second suspect was arrested. During the arrest, the suspect was found in possession of a 9MM CZ with ammunition, and its serial number was also filed off.

They are also alleged to be Zimbabwean nationals.
