Poor performance from one of South Africa’s oldest has led to the team Western Cape team being relegated with two games left to play.
Established in 1970, Cape Town Spursโ fate was sealed this past weekend following a 1-0 by Richards Bay against the Buccaneers, Orlando Pirates.
Spurs has been one the teams with poor performance this season having won just five of their 28 league matches so far this season and four draws.
Currently sitting on 19 points, even if they win their last two league games, they will not catch up with Richards Bay who now have 27 points.
Toughluck for former Amakhosi coach Ernst Middendorp who took over in November 2023 from from former Amakhosi player Shaun Bartlett who started the season with the team with no luck.
