Brother stabs younger brother to death during a fight

A 20 years brother is set to remain police custody until July 4th following his arrest on Wednesday.
Parsons Seepi Maduwe was arrested on charges of murder after alerting his family of what he had done to his younger brother, who was 16 years old in their home.
“The two brothers allegedly got into a heated argument which escalated to a physical fight, during which the brother allegedly stabbed the younger brother in the back with a knife.”
“After the ordeal, the suspect went to the relative to inform them about the incident, and the Emergency Personnel Service were called to the scene.”
“The victim was certified dead at the scene. The case was opened at Witpoort police station.”
“The suspect was arrested in Vianeen village and detained at police station.”
This according to Colonel Malesela Ledwaba who added that the deceased Rethabile Matsobane Maduwe was allegedly found laying on the bed facing up.
Pearson made a brief appearance at Phalala Magistrates Court on Friday where the matter was postponed pending further investigations and for formal bail application.
