Son who allegedly killed his mother remains in police custody

A murder case against a 24 years old man who allegedly stabbed his mother death has been postponed to October 18, 2022 pending further investigations and handing over documents to the defence team.
Thabang Moswane , made his first appearance at the Koster Regional Court, following transfer of the matter from the lower court. This follows the Director of Public Prosecution’s (DPP), authorisation on transferring the case, owing to its serious nature.
Moswane has abandoned his bail, and he will remain in police custody until the next court appearance.
