Award winning Chef Les The Chef passes on

Sad day in South Africa as the public learn of the passing of a prominent and award winning chef Lesego Semenya popularly known as Les The Chef.

Although the cause of the passing is yet to be known, Lesego had recently announced on his Twitter account that he has tested positive for Covid-19.

He also went on to express his outmost disappointment at the rate at which the government is rolling out Covid-19 vaccine programme. He said that people like with comorbidities at more in danger.

Test results just came in. Positive.

I double-mask. I don't go anywhere. I keep faraway from other humans. Had cancelled all public and private appearances. Put most of my business on hold. But here it is.

Please don't take this virus lightly. 🙏🏾

Gov really let us "non-old" people with comorbidities down when they changed the strategy on vaccines without even trying to find a workable solution.
