Another PSL coach is set to spend the festive season unemployed after being booted for poor performance in the 2020\21 DStv Premiere Soccer League.
Chippa United FC has earlier today released a statement confirming their departure with their head coach Lehlohonolo Seema after failing to secure a second win in 8 games played already.
Seema has only managed to win 1 out of eight games in the DStv Premiership so far this season and it appears owner Siviwe Mpengesi’s patience has run out once again.
It is also alleged that Seema slept win an email informing him of a suspension on Tuesday night.
The team have now appointed Belgian coach Luc Eymael until the end of this season.
“The Clubs confirms that it met with former coach Lehlohonolo Seema on Wednesday, where the consensus from both parties was to part ways with immediate effect.”
“The decision comes after an indifferent start to this season with the team currently in 14th place on the league standing after eight matches” said the team in a statement.
The team’s Chairman Mr Mpengesi said that they have found themselves having to fight to stay in the top league on several occasions and they don’t want to continue to find themselves in that position again.
