A Young Mother Suffocates her 3 Months Old Baby to Death

A 23 years old mother has handed herself over to the police for killing her three months old baby in KwaZulu Natal.
The woman went to KwaDabeka police station crying and informed police that she had killed her three months old baby girl by suffocating her with a blanket.
The police together with the woman proceeded to the woman’s place of residence at Sub five in KwaDabeka and found the body wrapped in a blanket and a dummy on her mouth. A case of murder was then opened at KwaDabeka SAPS.
She made a brief appearance at Pinetown Magistrates’ Court yesterday and due to appear again 23 March.
