Suspect house robbers allegedly kill one of two eyewitnesses

A case against two suspects, Rebaone Malekanyo (32) and Tumelo Tlonkwe (31) has been postponed to 22 December 2021 for further investigations.

The two are facing a charge of assault to do grievous bodily harms, kidnapping and murder.

Their arrest emanates from an incident that occurred on October 31 at a place called Modimong village where the two accused were allegedly seen by the 32 years old deceased and his girlfriend on their way home from a local tavern as they were allegedly breaking in a nearby house.

Seeing that the deceased and the girlfriend saw them, the two suspects then approached the victims and assaulted them.

They then left the girlfriend on the side of the road as they took the deceased Tshepang Seelo.

His lifeless body was then discovered three days pater.

The two suspects handed themselves to the police at Taung police station on 02 November 2021, a day before the body of the deceased was discovered.
