Even after losing 3-0 away to Tanzanian side Simba SC, Kaizer Chiefs still finds themselves as the only South African soccer team to remain in CAF champions competition.

Amakhosi survived yesterday having done an outstanding job home last weekend when they won 4-0 over Simba which left coach Gavin Hunt giggling.

The Soweto giants got 4-3 aggregate win which saw them advance to their first-ever semi-final appearance in the Champions League.

Mamelodi Sundowns got booted out of the league by Al Ahly led by their former coach Pitso Mosimane after drawing 1-1 in Tshwane yesterday.
