Tributes pour in for the entertainment industry legend DMX

Entertainment industry mourns the passing of Hip Hop legend popularly known as DMX following a week long hospitalisation after suffering a heart attack.
The family of the 50 years old Earl Simmons released a statement confirming his passing where they also regarded him as a warrior who fought till the very end.
DMX enjoyed most of his entertainment career successes from the 90s up until he passed having been honoured for the role he played in promoting the Hip Hop culture.
The role he played in the music and entertainment industry over-clouded some of the controversies he found himself in.
His family said he rapper died at White Plains Hospital north of New York City, with his loved ones by his side.
“He loved his family with all of his heart and we cherish the times we spent with him,” the statement read. “Earl’s music inspired countless fans across the world and his iconic legacy will live on forever.”
The family said information on a memorial service was forthcoming.
