Number of confirmed Covid-19 cases almost at 1.5million

Covid-19 cases in South Africa are slowly closing into 1.5million mark after confirming 2 781 cases in the last 24 hours, total number of confirmed cases now stands at 1 487 681.
This is also as number of Covid-19 fatalities continue to grow on daily basis.
Health Minister Dr Zweli Mkhize said that the ministry has recorded 288 deaths with the Eastern Cape reporting 26 deaths, Free State 24, Gauteng 166, KwaZulu Natal 23, Limpopo 4, Mpumalanga 16, Northern Cape 7 and Western Cape 22 which brings the total to 47 670 deaths.
