ActionSA senior members home safe after kidnapping

Herman Mashaba’s ActionSA has assured South Africans that the party’s Gauteng Provincial Chairperson and Chairperson of the Youth Forum, Funzi Ngobeni and Hluphi Gafane respectively are now safe and reunited with their families.
This follows a brief kidnapping when the two where driving in one of the most hijacked vehicles, Toyota Hilux at Olivenhoutsbos, Centurion late Tuesday afternoon.
The pair said they were approached by armed gun men who also took them hostage.
“Funzi and Hluphi have been recovered. We can confirm they are in good health despite what must have been a harrowing experience.”
“They, along with their families, are deeply moved by the love and prayers of the ActionSA family as well as the overwhelming outpouring of support from South Africans. It is requested that they be afforded the space this evening to be with their families and recover from this ordeal.”

The police said the matter is still under investigation and more information will be shared soon.
