“Evidence led in court revealed that Kgomo, raped the complainant whenever the grandmother went out of the house to run errands.”
Mamothame also said that the report of the gruesome act only saw the light of day when the aunt noticed an usual behaviour from the child as she was constantly crying and stopped playing with other kids. She told the aunt about ordeal after asking her what the problem was.
As a result, the matter was reported to the police who helped the child to go for medical check which later on confirmed that the child was violated and he was arrested.
