51 years old man arrested for submitting false documents claiming R 900 000 at RAF

A fraud case against 51 years old Thapelo Seabo who attempted to defraud Road Accident Fund (RAF) of R 900 000 has been postponed to August 18, 2021.
Seabo was arrested following an investigation which discovered that he had lied that his wife who had passed on in a motor vehicle accident was a bread winner and they had been left stranded and desperate since her passing and he submitted documents to claim R 900 000 worth of financial support.
Police Spokesperson Captain Tlangelani Rikhotso said that the results from the investigation however came out with a total different outcome which found that the deceased was in fact unemployed.
