Woman arrested for the murder of an 11 years old girl

The Police in Giyani, Limpopo have confirmed an arrest of a 37 years old woman for the murder and kidnapping of an 11 years old little girl and attempted murder of an elderly woman.
The incident is said to have occurred a week ago at Makgakgabatse village where a an elderly woman said she heard a knock from her daughter in law around 12 midnight saying she had brought her children for an ancestral ritual.
Police Spokesperson Brigadier Motlafela Mojapelo said that their report says that the 75 years old woman refused to open up for the lady seeing that she was accompanied by unknown men.
“The two allegedly left soon after their request was denied. Three hours later at about 03:00, the elderly woman was attacked, strangled and left for dead by unknown men who in the process, kidnapped the little girl.”
“Cases of attempted murder and kidnapping were opened and investigations commenced. Information on the whereabouts of the woman was received and the Police traced and arrested her in Kempton Park in Gauteng.”
Mojapelo added that unfortunately thorough investigations conducted by members of Giyani FCS, Tzaneen K9 and Giyani Crime Prevention found the decomposed body of the 11 years old girl hanging under the tree in the bushes at Manganya Farm next to Ga-Maphalla outside Giyani today Friday 10 March 2023.
