Legendary former Bafana Bafana Captain Lucas Radebe says he is not happy with current state football in South Africa.
Radebe spook length about lack of priority in uplifting and poor management in the development of our foundation football.
He was speaking during a press briefing of Marumo Gallants’ unveiling of new jersey in Sandton earlier this week.
The 53 years old Radebe who holds 70 caps in the national team was recently appointed to the new CAF technical and development committee.
Having had a successful international football career, Radebe is well respected in the English Premier League after playing for Leeds United Football Club who have in numerous events recognised him for his contribution in the success of the team.
Which is something that he says should rather be vice versa, being recognized and praised more in his home country than foreign.
He said the problems that exists in our football run deeper than just football on its own and what is seen on the surface.
