Further in the clip Dr Ramathuba is heard crying out to the woman about the strain foreign nationals, mostly illegal are putting in the basic free basic health care.

She said it is painful to them as the health department in the Province that they have further strain their already strained limited to treat people who were not initially budgeted for.

The clip saw opposition parties in the Province, calling for her removal.

The EFF accused MEC of expressing her xenophobic views towards the patient and for that she needs to be disciplined.

“We call on the removal of the MEC because she has violated the integrity of a patient and undermined Hippocratic Oath, by causing intentional harm and humiliation to a patient.”

“She is unfit to hold that office and must be released to practice her hatred of African people outside the levers of state power” said the EFF through a statement.

The Democratic Alliance also joined in against her utterances saying her message is directed to the wrong person at the time when she needs all the support at her most vulnerable moment.

Following the surfacing of the video, other videos of the MEC talking about poor performance in her department in the Province made their way to the social media as well.
