Number of Companies Going into Liquidation Increases by 10,7%

Hopes of decreasing the number of unemployment in South Africa seems to be a dream that will take years to achieve as companies goes into liquidation.

While entrepreneurship seems to be the way to go in order to increase employment rates, many companies still find themselves having to go into either voluntary or forced liquidation.

A number of liquidated companies have since increased by 10,7% in 2019.

This is according to Statistics South Africa who said that a number has increased from 1 845 in 2018 to 2 042 cases 2019.

Some of the industries that saw lot of liquidations include financing, insurance, real estate and business services with 668 liquidations.
