Floods leave people stranded in Greenside just outside Marapyane

South African Weather Service (SAWS) has reported that rainy weather and floods are still to remain with us for some time.
This recent rainy weather has also claimed several people’s lives with Mpumalanga having reported about eight people at the moment losing their lives and five reported missing.
Floods have also seen people’s houses being badly affected with Greenside between Seabe and Marapyane in Dr J.S Moroka Local Municipality seeing flood which the community have been failing to avoid for years now.
Some time around 2017 and 2018 the community also experienced devastating floods.
Greenside Clinic was also not spared in this recent floods.
