As class of 2022 matric learners start writing their final year exams, various organizations including political parties have sent messages of support and encouragement to learners to remain focus and never let anything deter them from achieving the bigger goal which is passing with flying colours.
Forum for Service Delivery (F4SD) President Mbahare Kekana also joined in to encourage learners not to let anxiety among others, take the best out of them. Remain focused he said.
“We just want to motivate all learners to perform better and achieve great results as they commence with the final examinations on Monday. We know our learners are writing examinations under difficult circumstances due to load shedding, and we are saying they should put more effort in their studies as we need better leaders for this country. These are our future leaders and as always, we encourage all of them to focus on their studies so that they can achieve good marks,” said Kekana.
“As leaders we should place education at the centre of transforming the lives of all communities. We believe education is a key to the societal development of our country and therefore it is important for us to guide, nurture and motivate our learners,” Kekana said.
This year’s group of students are one of those who were badly affected by the heavy lock down of the global pandemic Covid-19.
They were in grade 10 when the world was first attacked by the virus.
Over 700 000 learners are expected to sit down for the exams.
