Estimated reading time: 5 minute(s)

Just days after detailing how South African Revenue Services (SARS) has left him broken and helpless, Akulaleki hit maker Dr Malinga continues to receive support from both fans and colleagues in the entertainment industry.

Malinga appeared in a Podcast And Chill with MacG interview this past Thursday sharing his life story about growing up in Temba, Hammanskraal, growing up with nothing starting from the ground.

He immediately became emotional and started breaking down in tears when he told a story about the day the Revenue Services came to his home to reposes some of his properties to recover his approximately R500K debt.

He said what saddened him the most was the fact that he has been trying all his life to help people in need with whatever he has and wherever he can but people fail to come to his rescue at the time when he needs them the most.

Malinga also expressed the disappointment from the response he received from the Arts & Culture Minister Nathi Mthethwa when he called for help to pay SARS.

Since the airing of the interview, Malinga has since been enjoying words of encouragement and financial support from fans as well as colleagues such as Black Coffee, Oskido, Busiswah and many others.
