Boity confirms she was a victim of assault during a night out

Media personality and entrepreneur Boitumelo “Boity” Thulo has asked for space to heal physically and emotionally following an assault that occurred during a night out this week.
It is said that an argument allegedly ensued between Boity and presenter Bujy Bikwa which later on led to a physical altercation where Boity was allegedly assaulted with a bottle.
This left Boity with a cut which forced her to seek medical attention.
Bujy was later on arrested.
Boity released a statement on her social media account early Saturday afternoon confirming the assault without mentioning any names and asked for space.
“Dear all, It is with deep sadness to state that I was indeed an unfortunate victim of a vicious physical assault and that I have since opened a case against the culprit, which I am following with a keen interest. I do not wish to comment on this matter any further (at this time)” she said.
