The African National Congress (ANC) has finally replied to the outrage by the opposition parties regarding their trip to Zimbabwe last week.

The party used the military jet to travel to a meeting with the Zimbabwe government Zanu-PF which is not allowed. The EFF is one of the parties that had called for the Defence Minister Nosiviwe Mapisa-Ngqakula to be suspended for abusing the state resources.

Instead of making this a bog matter, the EFF the simple thing the government can do is send an invoice to the ANC.

The ANC replied on Tuesday that they agree that they were wrong in the way they traveled and taking into consideration that we are still under lock down.

“We will reimburse the government for the costs incurred on behalf of our delegation. Our delegation is under quarantine in line with the lock down regulations” said the party.
