Africa records over 100K Covid-19 fatalities and South Africa accounts for almost half

Africa have surpassed 100K mark of Covid-19 related fatalities now standing at 101 140 as of 20 February 2021 with South Africa accounting for most cases at almost 50K now standing at a total number of 48 940.
South Africa is also followed by Egypt which has recorded 10 298 Covid-19 related fatalities and Morocco with 8 548.
But Morocco has recorded second highest number of cases at 480,948 confirmed cases second to South Africa with just over 1.5million.
