Bafana holds on to the number one position in the Group G FIFA World Cup Qualifiers following a 1-0 win against the Black Stars, Ghana at the FNB stadium on Monday.

All thanks to Bongokuhle Hlongwane from Pietermaritzburg who scored the winning goal in the 83rd minute after several misses from the team.

Bafana Bafana’s lead in the group was confirmed following a 1-0 win by Ethiopia who had a major boost with a 1-0 home win over Group G rivals Zimbabwe at the Bahir Dar Stadium on Tuesday afternoon.
