Ramaphosa is expected to give evidence and be questioned on matters falling within the terms of reference of the commission, including ANC matters and testimony related to his terms as president and deputy president.

He was due to make an appearance in May but the Commission Chair DCJ Raymond Zondo decided to rather postpone as he was in the process of asking for the extension of the Commission.

Ramaphosa alleged during his first appearance that the ANC suffered a huge blow during the former President Jacob Zuma’s tenure where division within the organization started to be more severe because of the state capture by the Gupta family.

DCJ Zondo allocated August 11 and 12 as the days where Ramaphosa is expected to give evidence. He will also give evidence as the former Deputy President and current President of the country.
