Police make a discovery of an 8 years old girl body who was reported missing

Police in Lejweleputswa District in the Free State have made a sad discovery in a developing case of abduction of an 8 years old little girl Bokamoso Shabe.
Bokamoso who was last seen at Mantshebo Primary School in Jerusalem Park on 21 June 2021, at 13:30. She was reported abducted from the school.
Police Spokesperson in the area Brigadier Motantshi Makhele said that following an intense search and investigation of the toddler, a team of police officials came across a gruesome scene where her body was found in the early Thursday afternoon, June 24 at around 14:30.
“This is after a visit to a suspected male’s house, who after being questioned, led the team to the scene in Riebeeckstad, Welkom where the body was found wrapped up with duvet cover in an open field.”
“She was still wearing her school uniform. A case of murder was opened for further investigation.”
“The 46-year-old male was arrested, he is expected to be charged with murder and appear in Welkom Magistrate’s Court soon. Additional arrests are expected” said Motantshi.
