Court appearance of a 39 years woman who allegedly stabbed her husband to death in Mpumalanga

Mpumalanga acting Police Commissioner General Thulani Phahla condemned an act of violence in a domestic dispute which left a 42 years old dead allegedly at the hands of his wife.

“This incident happened on Saturday, 01 May 2021, at Goromani Trust, near Hazyview. It is alleged that police received information of a man who was stabbed by his wife and immediately responded to the scene.”

“On their arrival, they found the victim, a 42-year-old man with injuries and laying unconscious bleeding profusely. Emergency Services personnel were summoned to the scene, unfortunately the man was certified dead and suspect was arrested.”

The said 39-year-old woman is expected to appear before the Mkhuhlu Magistrate’s Court later today.
