The red berets Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) have welcomed the South African Police Service (SAPS) comments on the alleged pending rape against their former national Spokesperson and currently Member of Parliament (MP) Dr Mbuyiseni Ndlozi.

This follows an article that was published by Daily Sun on false accusations alleging that Ndlozi is a suspect in a pending rape case, to which SAPS in Gauteng said they have no such case in their records.

EFF said that through a statement that this is one of tactics used by external forces working hand in hand with the state to seek to discredit the leadership of the EFF.

“We are particularly concerned that amongst other things, the SAPS statement says, “Police hearing place it on record that the reporter behind this article in reference has not sought the comment of the Gauteng Provincial Head of Corporate Communication on this matter even after he was advised to do so.”

“The Daily Sun which is under News24 and Koos Bekker’s stable of racist and establishment media deliberately defamed Commisar Dr Mbuyiseni Ndlozi knowing very well that not even a withdrawal of the article will lessen the damage done to his reputation” said the EFF.

They added that they not take any defamatory falsified attack towards them lightly and they will continue fighting.

“We send a very strong caution to the sitting President and his hunting dogs that we will fight with everything in our power to encounter the unlawful and below the belt methods to fight political battles. We caution the sitting President because we are fully aware that attempts to destroy the integrity of the EFF and it’s leadership is done to protect Cyril Ramaphosa and his faction which exists to please the white people” said the EFF.
