555 new Covid-19 related fatalities recorded

Health Minister Dr Zweli Mkhize says that the department has confirmed 7 150 new Covid-19 cases taking the total number of confirmed cases to 1 437 798.

This is also the department sees an increase in fatalities with a total of 43 105.

This follows 555 more related deaths that have been reported where the Eastern Cape accounts for 150, Free State 10, Gauteng 70 , Kwa-Zulu Natal 249, Limpopo 7, Mpumalanga 21, Northern Cape 3 and Western
Cape 45.
